On the 26th October a new law requiring all employers to take reasonable steps to protect employees from sexual harassment at work takes effect.
Failure to take such steps could result in an uplift of uncapped damages in any Employment Tribunal award and gives the Equality and Human Rights Commission (ECHR) new enforcement and investigatory powers.
One way employers can demonstrate that they have taken reasonable steps is to undertake training (see ACAS Guidance).
We are pleased to offer a 1 hour training session covering:
- What is the legal definition of “sexual harassment”?
- What should your sexual harassment policy look like/contain?
- What training should you offer your managers/line reports?
- What should you do if an allegation of sexual harassment is made?
The training will take place
- by Teams
- 12 noon on Thursday 7th November 2024
- and is £60 (FREE to retained clients) go here to book your place (REF SHT).
